Big Brown House was formed fall of 1985 by Antioch College students Adrian Garver, Roger Garufi, Ben London and Steve Moriarty. The band recorded this album in the basement of a house in Ann Arbor Michigan summer of 1988 on a Tascam 4 track. it was release in a small run of cassettes later that year. The band relocated to Seattle after graduation in 1989 and broke up in 1990. Steve Moriarty went on play drums in the Gits and Ben London was the singerguitarist for Alcohol Funnycar. Big House is the debut album by American country music band Big House. It was released on March 25, 1997 via MCA Nashville. The album includes the singles Cold Outside, You Ain't Lonely Yet and Love Ain't Easy. Monty Byrom - lead vocals, acoustic guitar, electric guitar.
