MIKEE OLLDFIEELD - Five Miles Out 1982 Full Album - Продолжительность: 50:02 Branimir Stojanović. Язык: Русский. Five Miles Out is the seventh record album by English multi-instrumentalist and composer Mike Oldfield, released in 1982. It is one of the very few albums on which Oldfield sings lead vocals, as he is noted for not having any confidence in his voice's qualities. The album produced two singles. The first track, Taurus II, is a long-form piece with changing melodies and instrumental settings. It features many familiar sounds from his earlier albums, such as uilleann pipes and female chorus. Mike Oldfield was back into the extended composition game with Five Miles Out, continuing the Taurus series with the mammoth Taurus II, an entertaining enough romp with references to Irish music, brass bands and Oldfield's beloved Morris. The true standout, though, was the title track, a paean to flying in bad weather that could easily double for Oldfield's feelings about the sort of monumental critical drubbing he was accustomed to receiving. Different Covers, One (most common), is the "soft" version (a sleeve that looks like a piece of paper) and the other one is the hard cover (like most covers). The record is fenomenal!

"For Oldfield (Five Miles Out)" is such a fantastic song, I can't stress it enough! This is an italo disco cover version of the original ambient classic by Mike Oldfield. Only problem I have here is that I like this version even better than the origianl! Flash System is presenting one hell of a song here. We have perfect male/female vocals and very powerful and assertive synthesizer work in this one. I highly recommend this one to anyone who is obsessed with rare and amazing italo disco music.
